Project Description
WorkCT Pro is a worker management platform designed to help labor teams continue operating on construction sites during the pandemic. Workers check in before entering the site and at designated checkpoints within the worksite vicinity, while businesses monitor attendance and whereabouts during working hours through an admin dashboard. We delivered a secure, scalable web platform built for high-traffic periods, strong data protection, and operational continuity.
Key Technical Decisions
Designed an always-on architecture on DigitalOcean with autoscaling to support traffic spikes and operational peaks
Implemented a resilient data layer with a master–replica (master–slave) database topology to reduce downtime risk
Delivered zero-downtime CI/CD via Bitbucket Pipelines for safe releases without disrupting field operations
Hardened security with WAF + DDoS prevention and network security controls to protect sensitive workforce data
Followed compliance-aligned engineering practices for PCI and GDPR requirements (as provided)
