Terms of Service

Using the Site

You may view, download and print pages for your own reference or to evaluate working with us. That permission does not extend to republishing our content, and it can be withdrawn if these terms are breached.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in a way that breaks any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system
• Probe, scan or test the security of the Site without our prior written permission — note that we welcome good-faith vulnerability reports, see the Privacy Policy
• Interfere with the Site's operation, including by placing disproportionate load on it
• Submit false information, or another person's personal data, through the contact form
• Scrape or systematically extract content for the purpose of republishing it or training a commercial model, other than as permitted by our robots.txt and llms.txt

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, design, graphics, logos, code and the arrangement of it — is owned by Madison Technologies or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

Client names, logos and case studies appear with permission and remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on the Site grants you any right to use them.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Anything beyond that needs written permission.

Accuracy of content

We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but content is provided for general information. Case study figures, headcounts and technology descriptions reflect a point in time and may change.

Nothing on the Site is professional advice, an offer, or a commitment to deliver any service on any particular terms. A proposal from us is the only thing that is.

Links to other sites

The Site links to sites we do not control, including client sites, partner sites and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your data. A link is not an endorsement.

Availability

We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee it. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, and we will not be liable if the Site is unavailable for any period.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madison Technologies will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of the Site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where liability can lawfully be capped, our total liability arising from the Site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). The Site is provided free of charge; work delivered under a client agreement is capped by that agreement, not by this one.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
